Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing fireplaces, chimney systems, heating appliances, stoves, flues, vents, and gas logs to determine condition, efficiency, and necessary repairs.
- Assess and evaluate sites for new fireplace and chimney installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Identify deficiencies, document findings, and prescribe appropriate repairs or installation requirements while adhering to all relevant building codes.
